Rothlehner Arbeitsbühnen

Since the mid-70s, everything at Rothlehner Arbeitsbühnen GmbH has revolved around the topic of “work platforms”.
In 1976, Manfred Rothlehner started with his first 10m work platform. With a work platform fleet with devices up to 45m working heights, valuable practical experience in crafts, tree service and work platform rental was gained.
After several years of involvement in Bavaria, Rothlehner took over the DENKA-LIFT general sales department for Germany in 1988; from 1993 also for various neighboring countries.

At the beginning of the 90s, subsidiaries were founded in Austria, Poland and what was then Czechoslovakia.
In 1996, Rothlehner Arbeitsbühnen GmbH acquired a stake in PB Lifttechnik GmbH.

In May 2001, the entire service area was merged with the affiliated service company Roland Jäkel GmbH. At the same time, this service company, which now has 60 employees and branches throughout Germany, was renamed “Lift-Manager GmbH Arbeitsbühnenservice”. Since then, the portfolio has been further expanded and the marketing of used equipment has been intensified.
In 2005, the range of Falcon Spider compact equipment was added in wheeled and tracked versions, as well as GSR truck work platforms.

In 2010, the expansion of the workshop and administration at the Massing location was completed. 15m hall height with crane track now allows lift managers at the Massing location to carry out extensive indoor maintenance and repair work on large equipment.

In June 2013, after 30 years of close collaboration, Rothlehner took over the assets and rights of DENKA-LIFT in Denmark. Since then, the associated service company Lift-Manager has taken care of the global DENKA spare parts service and technical support.
DENKA-LIFT production is being restructured and continued by Rothlehner in Germany. In October 2013, the first DENKA LIFTs from our own production were presented at the Bühnenwiesn.
In 2015, a branch was opened in Hanover-Isernhagen and work on the Hungarian market began.

In 2020, the growth step was taken in Villach from mobile service to our own workshop branch.
Thomas Biedermann, service manager at Rothlehner Austria, has already expanded the team in Villach to include a service technician and another person in the back office.
