“Reinforcement instead of multiple levelling” with KOBAU microlith Spachtelvlies

Field of application / properties: 

KOBAU microlith® Spachtelvlies is used for the reinforcement of paint systems in case of plaster surface cracks of type A.1 according to the classification in the BFS Notice No. 19. The technique “Reinforcement instead of multiple levelling” allows smoothening of rough substrates such as fibre glass wallpapers or mottled stone plaster in one operation. KOBAU microlith® Spachtelvlies is characterized by dimensional stability and good 
wet strength. KOBAU microlith® Spachtelvlies is normally inflammable and complies with 
the fire class B2 according to DIN 4201-1.

Tools:

• Roller, paint brush, spray gun or paperhanger‘s spatula.
• Cutter knife, toothed trowel 4x6x4 mm, smoothening tool.
