FAF FARBWERTE

Experience a very special materials exhibition at FAF - FARBE, AUSBAU & FASSADE with FAF FARBWERTE. The special area in hall 8, stand 8.500 focussed on attitude, durability and sustainability of coulour. In addition, many other socially and culturally relevant values played a role, which we express through colour design. Visitors let themelves be inspired and soaked up the forward-looking impulses!

THE CONCEPT

FAF - FARBE, AUSBAU & FASSADE is working together with the Institute International Trendscouting (IIT) of the University of Applied Arts (HAWK) Hildesheim for the special FAF FARBWERTE area.

The institute analysed megatrends and their influence on our lives, actions, design, living and creation and thus determined 15 colour tones for the trade fair, which serve as a basis for formulating and designing possible future models with depth and atmosphere. This contemporary range of colours is also known as FAF FARBWERTE Design Futures.

The composition of the colour palette enables the design of future-oriented surfaces and interiors that are both sensually tangible and functional. FAF FARBWERTE shows the multifaceted use of these selected colour nuances.

The following five relevant and current topics that describe the essential functions and activities of indoor living were identified:

  • Vital work
  • Sensual recreation
  • Sustainable design
  • Virtual play space
  • Public life
